Today, March 27, 2023, led by Professor Dr. Thawatchai Supadit Acting Vice President of Walailak University including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungrawee Jitbhakdi Director of the Walailak Botanical Park and staff of the Walailak Botanical Park to participate in submission to certification BGCI Botanic Garden Accreditation to upgrade Walailak University Botanical Park to be an international botanical garden standard.
             The Botanic Garden Accreditation from Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI)  is the largest plant conservation network in the world Currently, there are several certified botanical gardens from 62 institutions and more than 800 member institutions from over 118 countries around the world.
             Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) It is an organization that has botanical gardens in more than 100 countries around the world as members and contribute to preserving the diversity of plants around the world. Fortunately, The Walailak University Botanical Park is ready to build a network and promote cooperation between botanical gardens both domestically and internationally.
