On February 14, 2026 (B.E. 2569), Walailak University Botanical Garden in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, hosted “Love Floats in the Sky: Season 2” under the theme “Love Signed in the Sky” at the Bota Sky Tower. The event welcomed seven couples who officially registered their marriage amid lush natural surroundings, creating a memorable Valentine’s Day experience and reinforcing the venue’s strength as a destination for creative, nature-based tourism.

                Prof. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, hailed the announcement as “a pivotal starting point” that publicly affirms the University’s determination to help address the global climate crisis. He emphasized the ambitious 2030 target and a structured approach that combines emissions reduction with carbon removal/offset measures.
