8–10 July 2026, Walailak Botanic Park welcomed 144 Grade 6 students and teachers from Anuban Phangnga School for a three-day academic service science camp designed to connect classroom knowledge with real-world learning.

Students took part in a variety of hands-on activities, including plant tissue culture, frog anatomy, microscopy, water quality investigation, human body studies, and drone flying. Each activity encouraged observation, experimentation, problem-solving, and teamwork.

The group also visited the wildlife breeding facility, where students learned about animal care, breeding, welfare, and the role of conservation facilities in protecting wildlife and biodiversity.

The camp reflects Walailak Botanic Park’s commitment to providing quality out-of-classroom learning experiences that inspire young people to explore science, technology, nature, and conservation through direct experience.
