Royal Initiative Study Visit

SIRIN MUSEUM Welcomes Senate Special Committee for Study Visit on Royal Initiative Projects and RSPG Operations at Walailak University

On 30 March 2026, SIRIN MUSEUM, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chatchai Kanlayanapapon and Saifon Jitnuphong, welcomed Wirat Rakphan and members of the Senate Special Committee for the Protection and Upholding of the Monarchy during their study visit to review royal initiative projects and the implementation of the RSPG Project at Walailak University.

During the visit, the committee received a presentation on the museum’s operations and Walailak University’s contributions under the royal initiative project. They were also briefed on volunteer activities carried out by university students as acts of merit and loyalty dedicated to the monarchy.

These initiatives aim to honor the institution of the monarchy while raising public awareness of the immense contributions made by the Chakri Dynasty to the Thai people, particularly in the areas of natural resource conservation and environmental sustainability. Such royal initiatives have significantly improved the quality of life of local communities and enabled people to sustainably utilize their own local resources.

The visit reaffirmed the important role of higher education institutions in continuing royal initiatives through education, conservation, research, and public service for the benefit of society.

“To love natural resources is to love the nation and the land.”
