On April 21, 2025, Walailak University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wuttisuttimeathawee, Vice President, and Associate Professor Dr. Chatchai Kalyanapan, Acting Director of Walailak Botanic Park, along with Ms. Saifon Jitnuphong and Mr. Sakda Baimiden from the Natural History Museum Unit, paid a visit to the executive team of the National Science Museum (NSM) in Pathum Thani Province.

                They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Kannika Chen, Deputy Director of NSM, together with Mr. Suwit Paonariang, Director of the Office of Science for Community Engagement; Dr. Nopparat Thepthaepha, Director of the Office of Natural History Academic Affairs; Mr. Panumas Chansuwan, Director of the Botanical Science Division; and Mr. Piya Yenchantra, Director of the Science Caravan Division.

                The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential collaborations across various dimensions, including research, personnel development, and museum management, with a particular emphasis on supporting a “rotating exhibition series” to enhance knowledge and experiences for visitors at the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum, Walailak University.

                This collaboration aims to elevate the museum as a dynamic and diverse learning resource, while strengthening its role as a central hub for education in natural resources, environmental awareness, and science—ultimately inspiring youth and the general public, and fostering a shared commitment to sustainable nature conservation.
