On 22 April 2026, Walailak Botanic Park, Walailak University, hosted “Bio Kids Camp,” a summer science program aimed at encouraging children and young people to explore science and nature through practical learning experiences.
The camp featured three main activity stations. “Secrets of the Heartbeat” introduced participants to the structure and function of animal hearts, while “Water Detectives” encouraged children to observe aquatic organisms and explore biodiversity in freshwater environments. The “Amazing Leaf Patterns” activity combined nature and art by allowing participants to create textile designs using natural materials.
The program emphasized observation, experimentation, curiosity, and age-appropriate scientific thinking. Staff from Walailak Botanic Park closely guided participants throughout the activities, creating a fun and supportive learning environment.
The camp was held at Walailak Botanic Park, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
