

Walailak University, in its role as an implementing agency under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG), through the RSPG Coordination Center – Walailak University (WAL-RSPG) at Walailak Botanic Park, organized the “Show & Share” event to present research and academic service projects funded by the RSPG for the fiscal year 2024, along with a mid-year progress report for fiscal year 2025. The event was held on April 24–25, 2025, at Huathapan Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Chulabhorn Walailak Hospital Building, Walailak University Medical Center, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
This event served as a platform for knowledge exchange regarding research and academic service activities aligned with the RSPG’s strategic framework. It emphasized the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge with local communities and local administrative organizations (LAOs) to promote conservation, development, and value enhancement of local resources in practical ways that deliver tangible benefits to the public and contribute to long-term sustainability.
The event attracted the participation of over 100 faculty members, staff, and students who actively engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and showcased creative and high-quality research and academic service projects focused on natural resource conservation.
This initiative reflects the vital role of Walailak University and the WAL-RSPG Coordination Center in driving research and academic service endeavors that fulfill the royal initiative while strengthening communities and contributing to the sustainable development of Thai society.
