
On January 6, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Walailak University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Suvit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President, chaired a preparatory meeting for the National Children’s Day 2025 celebration. The meeting was attended by Colonel Surin Thongtem, Director of the Civil Affairs Division, Fourth Army Region; Associate Professor Dr. Chatchai Kanlayanapaphon, Acting Director of the Walailak Botanic Garden; and representatives from more than 25 organizations in Tha Sala District and Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The meeting took place in the Khao Luang Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Cooperative Education Building, Walailak University.
The meeting brought together various sectors, including the Fourth Army Region, Tha Sala Subdistrict Municipality Education Office, Subdistrict Administrative Organizations, Tha Sala Police Station, Krung Thai Bank, Government Savings Bank, and Schools and support units from within Walailak University. These groups will join forces to organize booths and activities aimed at spreading joy and inspiring children and youth for this year’s National Children’s Day under the theme, “My Children’s Day…The Wonders of the University Town.”
The discussion focused on operational details and preparation in areas such as activity organization, venue readiness, and promotional efforts by participating agencies. The goal is to ensure the event runs smoothly and brings happiness to the children attending the celebration, scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025.
This year’s National Children’s Day celebration is expected to leave a lasting impression and inspire youth in the community. Walailak University and its partners are committed to making this Children’s Day a joyous and memorable occasion for everyone.
